Cannot install updates. Have trouble getting into thunderbird when I try…..Update notice keeps popping up which is annoying since it will not let me install.

since 2.0.0.22 CA firewall keeps blocking TB. If I turn the fire wall off it works. I have deleted TB from the list and re-granted access. I have set TB up manually. Some times it works for a day but then starts blocking it again. I have been running both TB and CA together for years. I am starting to see other with this problem. Any help?

I have the same problem as Eva W. above. Since the last upgrade I can’t send a file from another programme either (for example MS Word via File, send as – mail as attachment). Please help as I use this feature a lot!

During the last update the following has apparently happened.
Windows XP rejects Thunderbird as the standard e-mailprogram.
I can no langer send a file in Adobe Acrobat an send a link of a page from IE 8.
XP says that there is no standard e-mail account and that i must set MS Outlook as the standard e-mail program what we do not want !!!

I strogly believe that TB is the best email client of the world, and I’m waiting realese n.3.0: what about it? How long shold I waiting for?

Hi everybody,
since the latest update I cannot send a file from another program (MS Word via File, send as – mail as attachment) directly. Microsoft says: Error: Contact “Microsoft exchange”. What went wrong? Please help -

Still having problems on Mac OS X 10.5.6.

While in the middle or writing emails (new or replying) the program freezes. Can’t use program until it resumes from hanging/freeze state.

This appears to be a common problem as many have mentioned it on online discussions and forums, but still not fixed. Why is that?

Once I find an alternative program I will delete this one. Constant freezing in the middle of writing emails is just plain annoying and time wasting.

Not happy Thunderbird Developers!
