I found that “Save all” and “Delete all” works only when you click in attachments area with no specific attachment chosen (no one is blue, all is clear).

Use the pull down menu!
File / Attachments / Save-Detach-Delete All
still works fine!

In V2.0.0.18 I too am getting the greyed out attachment options of “Detach All” and “Delete All” and it’s really irritating me.

I too lost the ability to “delete all” or “detach all” attachments. “Save all” attachments is also disabled.

Symptom:
When in the preview pane, or when opening a message in its own window, and right-clicking on an attachment, the last three items of the popup menu (being “Save All…”, “Detach All…”, “Delete All…”) are greyed out.

I have usuing Thunderbird since Feb 08 & love it. I send or recieve anywhere from 25 to 1 thousand emails a day. It is nice to use this userfriendly program but….
When the newest update (11/19/08) for Thuderbird happens my email can’t find the server. I have to go through a system restore inorder to get my email on line!!! Why will it not allowe me to NOT UPDATE?”

And does anyone know how to make to newest update work on my system? –Windows XP. Hostmonster is the domaine & AT&T is the internet provider.—

Since updating to the latest version of Thunderbird a couple of days ago, I’ve lost the ability to ‘delete all’ or ‘detach all’ attachments. Also in the case of emails with multiple attachments, after I’ve deleted or detached the first attachment on its own, I don’t seem to be able to delete or detach any more.

SO far two times, about a week or more apart, my Thunderbird mailbox stopped being able to send messages. Receiving is fine. The send settings are fine. I can send and receive mail from my other software using the same account. Does anyone have an idea what is going on?
