HI,
I have a suggestion. I've been using Thunderbird for two years but never any update controls which messages to download and which not. I mean Thunderbird must have a way to let the user control which messages he wants to download and which he prefers to defer them until next time or even delete them from the server (because of their large size).
I wish this update will come to reality one day because it is really needed especially for those who use dial-up connection to the internet.

Thanks for your hard working to improve Thunderbird always..

Hi.
I am getting the "Folder is being processed...." message.
Normally only lasts for a few seconds, but today I waited for over an hour and still couldn't download messages. Finally, I did a restart and was able to download immediately.
Never had problem with previous version, but don't want to go back unless I have to.
Is there a solution?

Gary: Thanks for the tip. It appears to be fixed in Shredder Alpha 2. My days of having to use Outlook may be coming to an end!

@AP: That bug has been fixed on the trunk. Please try Shredder Alpha 2 or the latest trunk nightlies and see if your issue has been resolved.

Bug 332110 still not fixed. I still can't attach files with Japanese names unless I'm in Japanese Windows. Time to uninstall once again and go back to Outlook. (sigh)

Since downlowding 2.0.0.16 I have been unable to connect to the isps I use. Verizon.net refuses to connect and also refuses to connect to owc.net for my other email.

My new Verizon mail is available on Verizon's site, but not in T'bird. I keep getting a Cannot connect to en-us.www.Mozilla.com when I open T'bird.

I downloaded in the same day I was deleting an XP2008 Antivirus nuisance--any connection?

Thunderbird version 2.0.0.16 (20080708)
When creating an email message I can't send attachments. Also, can't send pictures or the original test in a reply. Can't forward messages. Any ideas?

When creating an email message the spell check is showing empty when there are mistakes made, is there a quick fix for this problem or has the install of T/Bird gone wrong do you think.

Cheers Jeff
