too bad the calendar overview (which was sitting underneath the mail inbox) went away. it was nicer to get an overview over the dates whilst reading an email.

where can i get the previous version of lightning??

The fact that so many people are grumbling only serves to reiterate that there is a massive demand for this project to exist and work properly.

This is still pre 1.0 so can I suggest that for the time being we do not send out the auto-update flag, this will help minimize damage to the project’s credibility while it is still under development.

I want a version of this which I can use. Why can’t reporting a bug be as easy as posting here?

Am I the only one who can no longer receive Outlook calendar events into Lightning after this upgrade? That was the whole reason I installed it. I’m running the latest Thunderbird on Mac OS X.4.

I too hate the new layout of 0.7. Please bring back the mini calender. I’ve reverted back to v0.5, but now there is no information displayed in the Agenda window – all-in-all, poor show!

It’s ok but the lack of the mini calendar on the left hand side under the mail folders is annoying. I don’t mind the today pane, but the lack of the mini calendar under the mail folders is a big negative that needs to be corrected. Please re-add an option for the mini-calendar in the next release.

also everytime i logon (google calander) a new calander is created. (up to 4 now)

just tried to add an event in sunbird and if you try to change the start and end time the times jump without being assinged, you cant change the start and stop time because it keeps jumping. how do i switch back to the previous version?

This is another vote for returning some calendar functionality to the folder pane of the main mail display. An entire sidebar of empty tasks and rare appointments is too much screen real estate. On the other hand, with the today pane off, I get no calendar information.
Too much or too little – neither is just right. You can’t please everyone all of the time, but customization capability lets you please more of them.
