The never ending update loop seems to be a "feature" of all Mozilla based programs. Its dragged on for f*****g ever (at least since version 1.5 until 2.0)
Nobody seems to be thinking that this bug keeps people staying with Internet Explorer / Outlook.

Everytime I do something from within an email such as clicking on a link or clicking on show pictures, my whole system freezes up and requires a power off and reboot to start working again. Any ideas as to why ?

Ta,
Rob.

Last time I launched Thunderbird (yesterday, before 1.5.0.12 update), all of the "read" emails in the Inbox of one of my accounts had disappeared, and only the unread ones remain. This is a major problem! Does anyone know anthing about this problem? Any chance of them being retrieved? Other mail folders have not been affected. Would appreciate some help.

1. Sometimes there are large time lags when Thunderbird does a "summary build" of various folders.

2. Modifying and sending lists is cumbersome including moving addressees to Bcc. I use O.E. to more easily edit adressees by selecting the saved group, right clicking and selecting "action" then "send mail". From here modifications are easy. This feature is not in Thunderbird.

It doesn't look like a bug has been fixed that prevents the printing of an address book.
