If I take a risk and run now for my main mailer with the bleeding edge or with the beta 2 when its released will I be able to easily move to the released platform ?

In earlier versions of Mozilla mail the code at beta was stable, reliable and published for a long time. Many people used it for main purposes. Its tempting.

Is it possible to delete a self made lable from the list and is it possible to change a lable. If I only want to set te forground color of a lable is that possible.

I'm also having problems with filters on local folders but my problem is that they're not showing. Looking at the filter log, they do seem to be working but they don't show when I edit the filter.

I have a filter called "Stuff I don't want to read" for items where I can't unsubscribe from. The filter marks things as read and moves them to the trash. There's 4 patterns showing for this filter. When I start to edit, another pattern shows up in the 6th position and the pattern I add is in the 5th.

So it goes from this:

1
2
3
4

to this:

1
2
3
4
new pattern
6

I have more patterns that should be showing.

Filters don't appear to work unless I run them upon the file. They do not work when the email arrives.

My Thunderbird 2.0 beta 1 hangs up every time when I try to reach Edit -> Preferences -> Composition. My distro is Fedora Core 6.

This also happens in a newly created profile.

My gtk2 theme is Clearlooks-Quicksilver

Please configure TB to do like Outlook Express does -- close the message window when one clicks 'Reply' or 'Forward' instead of leaving the message window open.

Thank you, :) tom
