Official Thunderbird release notes usually only stress on new functionality added. The Rumbling Edge unofficial Thunderbird changelogs seek to provide a more detailed alternative.

  • Gecko 1.9.0.x branch (Aug 2005 – Nov 2008) – Except trunk nightlies and the occasional alpha/beta, no releases were made off this branch.

Thunderbird 1.1 Alpha 1 is out!

Due to numerous user requests, I have started a work-in-progress unofficial Thunderbird 1.1 changelog on the upcoming features and significant bugfixes in the future 1.1 release. The official Thunderbird 2.0 roadmap should also provide more information on 1.1. Edit: Most of these features are already working well in 1.1 Alpha 1. Do post bug reports of potential bugs in bugzilla as soon as possible.
